Duluth Clinic Pathologists
The SMDC Clinical Laboratory is under the medical direction of Duluth Clinic Pathologists, who oversee lab functions based on their areas of professional expertise. Pathologists are highly trained physicians who specialize in the laboratory-based study of disease and its causes, processes and development.
Our team of Pathologists collectively has more than 130 years of experience. All are board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology, with some having subspecialty expertise in dermatopathology, hematopathology, and surgical pathology. Many of our Pathologists completed their training through the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.
