AWARE Clinical Research Study: The Duluth Clinic is recruiting women with recurrent symptoms of angina despite medication or angioplasty/bypass surgery for the Phase 3 AWARE Study. This study represents one of the very few women-only cardiovascular clinical studies ever undertaken and reflects a growing awareness that heart disease in women in underserved. The study is for an investigational product designed to promote angiogenesis, a natural process of blood vessel growth within the heart muscle.
