Consultations that help you travel more safely

A visit to our center, ideally six to eight weeks before departure, can help lessen your risk of experiencing unexpected health complications or unforeseen safety issues while traveling abroad. Our experts will conduct a complete health history to assess your risk of travel-related illness such as malaria and consult with you on how to manage any chronic conditions you may have. In addition, they will supply you with educational materials and give advice regarding health and safety issues for specific destinations, based on recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control, World Health Organization, and the U.S. Department of State Advisory.  Read MORE about our traveler services...

One visit is usually all you need

Many insurance plans cover travel medicine care, and in most cases — unless you need a series of immunizations — you only need to visit the Travel Center one time prior to departure.
