Outpatient Surgery

Children ages 1 and older can receive outpatient surgery at SMDC Medical Center in a variety of specialties, including:

• general surgery
• ear
• nose and throat
• ophthalmology
• plastics
• urology

To foster the best care, we support parents in caring for their child before, during and after surgery. We share information on surgery as well as the growth and development of your child. And families enjoy amenities like a playroom as part of a truly child-centered environment.
