Rehabilitation Program

Miller-Dwan Rehabilitation Center at SMDC Medical Center offers a comprehensive rehabilitation program for children, from infants to age 18. We care for children who have had accidents, became ill, or were born with an impairment resulting in functional limitations.

Our highly specialized teams are directed by a pediatric physician with a rehabilitation focus. Family involvement is at the heart of everything we do.

• Each child’s schedule and activities are personalized to his or her unique needs.
• Help is provided for smoother transitions to home, school or outpatient therapy.

Four of our programs for children have been accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF):
