What Distinguishes Our Care?
A team approach. Our Gastroenterologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and other staff such as radiologists, pathologists, oncologists, surgeons, psychologists, social workers and dietitians work closely together for their patients’ interests. This team cares about the educational, physical, psychological and social aspects of each patient’s GI condition, with the goal of helping the patient reach a better quality of life.
Excellent care for chronic conditions. Sometimes GI problems call for frequent and regular check-ups in order to keep disease activity under control. Our nurses, doctors, nurse practitioners and physician assistants partner with patients for as long as needed, so that patients have the help they need to maintain the best quality of life as possible.
Collaboration with primary care providers. The Gastroenterologist remains in contact with patients’ primary care providers throughout diagnostic work-ups and subsequent follow up care. Patients receive the best care when they continue to see their primary care doctors regularly.
