Our Cardiac Cath Lab is equipped with sleek, cutting-edge cardio-vascular X-ray and monitoring equipment that offers both flexibility and control during procedures. The Philips FD20 system we use provides exceptional image quality and X-ray dose management to prevent you and those performing your procedure from overexposure.

As you lay on the movable table, the flat detector (camera) can be rotated around you for clear and precise images at numerous angles. Monitors allow your cardiologist to view images in real time as well as freeze frames for comparison. The ability to adjust image area from as large as 30 X 40 cm to a square image as small as 16 cm allows your cardiologist to perform incredibly intricate and precise procedures in your heart and arteries through the catheter.

Our Boston Scientific Galaxy 2 intravascular ultrasound equipment is equally impressive. It provides real-time, high-resolution images for precise tomographic assessment of an artery segment, including lumen (area through which blood flows) and the size and composition of plaque (blockage).
