Telemetry Monitoring

Telemetry allows us to monitor your heart rhythm with a portable device that sends signals back to our centralized system. It is used to determine how your heart reacts to medication, movement, interventions, and other factors.

Our telemetry monitoring room has six computer screens and is staffed by trained technicians. We can monitor up to 82 patients at a time — in our unit and throughout the hospital.
